Responses are the quality characteristics that will be measured as part of each run. These must be numeric, and the values must be sensitive enough to reflect changes in the process or product as the run conditions are changing. It is wise to spend time prior to running an experiment developing a precise response measurement. Poor response measurement is the leading cause of finding no effects.
Press Finish without entering anything to establish one response column named “R1” with no units of measure.
We recommend that meaningful names be given to the responses and their units of measure.
