Historical Data designs allow the experimenter to paste data in from a previous experiment or survey.
Numeric Factors: How many numeric factors are involved in this experiment?
Categoric Factors: How many categoric factors are involved in the experiment? (Levels entered on the next screen)
Name: (defaults to alphabetically ascending letters) Enter a descriptive name for each factor.
Units: (optional) Enter the units of measure for each factor.
Low: For a numeric type, the minimum setting for the factor. For categoric type, the arbitrary low setting.
High: For a numeric type, the maximum setting for the factor. For categoric type, the arbitrary high setting.
Edit Constraints button: Click this button to impose constraints on the numeric variables. Use this when some of the extreme combinations of the numeric factors will not produce a useful and/or measurable response. For more details use the help button on the Edit Constraints dialog.
