Split-Plot Optimal Combined designs are used when mixture components are in the same experiment as process factors and/or other independent mixtures. The split-plot nature of these designs can handle hard-to-change mixtures where a single batch is made. They can also work with hard-to-change process factors. Combined experiments are very complex and usually require many runs.
At least one of the following must be set to something other than 0 to proceed.
Mixture 1 Components: The number of components in a single mixture
Mixture 2 Components: The number of components in a second, independent mixture
Numeric Factors: The number of numeric factors
Categoric Factors: The number of categoric factors
Details about the components and factors are entered on succeeding screens.
