What is a Floating License?

The software will contact a license manager to check out a seat while the program is running. The software can be installed on any number of workstations, but only 3, 5, or 10 users can be using the software simultaneously.

What is the difference between Hosted and Standard Network licenses?

The Hosted license uses a license manager hosted by Stat-Ease. Workstations will need an internet connection to check out a license. No data other than license-related information is transmitted to, or stored on, Stat-Ease servers. The Network license uses an on-premises license manager. See the documentation for details on the license manager.

What updates are included?

All licenses have access to maintenance releases (e.g. 13.0.0 to 13.0.1). The subscription licenses will have access to newer major versions of the program.

What support is included?

All licenses can contact support via email, which is almost always responded to in the same business day, with a maximum of 2 business days. Business hours are between 8:00 and 4:30 Central Time.
