On October 22nd, 2014—and again on the 23rd and 24th—Shari Kraber will present a free webinar on "A Flexible Strategy for More Effective Experimentation—Taking Designs Apart and Putting Them Together Again."

In this one-hour webinar, Shari will provide methods for creating experiment designs progressively so that knowledge can be gained steadily via iterative steps.

Stat-Ease and our co-organizer and local host, PRISMTC, recently held the 5th European DOE User Meeting in Cambridge, UK.  The event, located at historic and beautiful Downing College, featured workshops, DOE case studies, and statistical talks.  A great time was enjoyed by all who attended.  Read an excellent synopsis of the conference (with pictures!) by Sebastian Hoffmeister on the Statcon blog.

If you haven't discovered Mark Anderson's Stats Made Easy blog yet, you may enjoy checking it out.  Mark offers a wry look at all things statistical and/or scientific from an engineering perspective. You will find posts on topics as varied as nature, science, sports, politics, and DOE.  His latest post, Conqueror paper dominates in flight test, involves fun with paper airplanes.  Take a look and feel free to share your comments. One is never too old for paper airplanes!

You will see an "Update Available" notice—with the option to install the update—when you open the program, or alternatively you can download the Design-Expert v9 installer again to get the latest version (you will find it at http://www.statease.com/dx9.html#files).
